This dial features a large VI set with 11 diamonds. The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections on many dials in the Oyster Perpetual collection. It is obtained using masterful brushing techniques that create grooves running outwards from the centre of the dial. Light is diffused consistently along each engraving, creating a characteristic subtle glow that moves depending on the position of the wrist. Once the sunray finish has been completed, the dial colour is applied using Physical Vapour Deposition or electroplating. A light coat of varnish gives the dial its final look.

Gem-setters, like sculptors, finely carve the precious metal to hand-shape the seat in which each gemstone will be perfectly lodged. With the art and craft of a jeweller, the stone is placed and meticulously aligned with the others, then firmly secured in its gold or platinum setting. Besides the intrinsic quality of the stones, several other criteria contribute to the beauty of Rolex gem-setting: the precise alignment of the height of the gems, their orientation and position, the regularity, strength and proportions of the setting as well as the intricate finishing of the metalwork. A sparkling symphony to enhance the watch and enchant the wearer.

Bijoux conforme à mes attentes mais expérience client que je regrette. Je fais le choix de passer par des joaillers pour m'assurer une qualité et je n'ai jamais eu de souci jusqu'à présent. Le bijoux initialement commandé n'était plus disponible dans la taille demandée et j'ai accepté une taille de perle inférieure que j'ai bien reçu et dans les temps mais la transparence concernant le prix n'a pas été correcte. Un premier prix était annoncé pour une taille donnée et ce prix a été maintenu pour une taille plus petite. En petites lignes (et donc peu mis en avant), il est mentionné une fois le paiement effectué, dans le mail de confirmation d'achat, que le prix peut varier du fait des variations du coût des matières ce que je comprends tout à fait, cependant, j'estime qu'un client doit être informé du prix réglé avant la transaction. J'ai demandé des explications au service client qui s'est montré disponible et réactif. Celui-ci m'a expliqué que la valeur de mon bijoux aurait augmenté après mon achat mais que le site internet n'était pas à jour, chose dont on ne m'a jamais informée au moment de me proposer un autre modèle, et qu'ils auraient appliqué une réduction expliquant le maintien du prix payé initialement pour une perle plus grande. Cela n'est apparu que sur la facture finale que l'on a fini par m'envoyer du fait d'un échange par téléphone. Ma facture disponible en ligne ne mentionnait en rien cette réduction ce qui sous entendait que la perle plus petite était au même prix que la taille supérieure alors que les modèles en ligne ont bien un tarif évoluant selon la taille de cette perle. Je trouve étrange que les prix n'aient plus été affichés aprés mes réclamations et que par la suite la marque ait décidé de noter les "prix sur demande" en ligne. Enfin, je n'ai reçu aucun certificat d'authenticité. Le service client m'a présenté ses excuses concernant l'explication du prix qui n'était pas claire et la marque est sûrement sérieuse mais cela ne m'encourage pas à renouveler un achat chez Maier.
